Periscope Schools is a group of co-educational schools comprising Elementary and Basic School, Junior High School, Senior High School and Post High School for students preparing for higher institution. It located in a serene environment at Adesola Oniyere, in the South-East Local Government Area, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. A branch of the school is also at the Oloka Estate, Pagun Olodo in Egbeda Local Government Area, Ibadan , Oyo State, Nigeria. The schools have a history of great students’ academic and moral excellence for more than twenty years. Our core and extra curriculum are all-inclusive, our teachers are dedicated, passionate, expert and godly. Our learning environment is beautiful and digitally enabling environment with a home-like boarding facility. Our instructional materials and laboratory are well equipped with a sophisticated e-library. Periscope schools is a brain child and vision of Prof. Christopher Oluseyi Akintunde Dada who is highly passionate in teaching and overall development of young people academically, morally and spiritually. He started the schools in 1994 as an evening coaching classes called Periscope Academy for primary and secondary school students at Lagos, Nigeria. He was very committed and moved the coaching classes to Ibadan in 1996 in order to have opportunity to have further study simultaneously with coaching classes. He advanced the school to a full-fledged nursery and Primary school named Periscope Basic School and secondary school named Periscope College Ibadan.
The Periscope Basic School (formerly known as D Solid Spectrum Nursery and Primary school) started in April 28, 2001 with seven pupils. The rate of the development of the school informed the quick establishment of the high school, Periscope College Ibadan in September 14, 2004. Our involvement in primary and secondary education is informed by the belief of the Proprietor Prof. Dada and the proprietress Mrs Eunice Olukemi Dada. Periscope college was approved by the government of Oyo State, Nigeria in the year 2007. Recognition inspection for Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) was conducted and approved in the year 2008 and the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) recognition inspection was conducted and approved by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council in the years 2009 and 2010 respectively.
The schools has been producing excellent high school graduates since the year 2009 and the success story has been wonderful.
